Welcome to the Cowboys & Fairways Charity Golf Tournament!

The Cowboys & Fairways Charity Golf Tournament was created with a dual purpose: to raise money for incredible charities and to bring the rodeo industry together for a day of fun and camaraderie at the end of the rodeo season. Founded by Janzen Tew of Denim & Velvet Marketing + Design and Sarah Scott, this event is a unique opportunity to support our community while enjoying a round of golf with some of the most celebrated cowboys in the industry.

Our Story

The idea for the tournament sparked during a discussion about how two cowboys from different events could create content together. This conversation evolved into brainstorming ways to unite various events and individuals within the rodeo industry for a greater cause. From this, the Cowboys & Fairways Charity Golf Tournament was born.

What Makes Us Unique

What sets our tournament apart is the chance for the public to play alongside their heroes—the elite cowboys of PRCA, PBR, and Contract Personnel. This is a rare opportunity for fans to meet and interact with the celebrities of the rodeo world. Additionally, cowboys who may not know each other well will have the chance to team up and compete, fostering a sense of community and friendly competition.

Our Goals

Our primary goal is to raise as much money as possible for the Golden Circle of Champions and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund. These organizations make a significant impact in our industry by supporting children facing life-threatening illnesses and providing financial assistance to injured rodeo athletes, respectively.

We will be actively engaging with our audience on Facebook, Instagram, and our website, as well as collaborating with our sponsors and partners to spread the word far and wide. Looking ahead, we hope to grow the Cowboys & Fairways Charity Golf Tournament into an annual tradition. Our vision is to potentially host additional tournaments throughout the year, continually bringing the rodeo community together and raising funds for deserving causes.
